Job Description
- Analyze and diagnose machine issues, identify technical problems, and conduct root‑cause analysis to ensure sustainable solutions.
- Collaborate with internal service engineering teams to improve machine efficiency and provide on‑site technical support when equipment issues arise.
- Perform installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, modifications, and fine‑tuning of both mechanical and software/program components, ensuring high‑quality service standards.
- Provide technical training and support to customers, enabling safe and effective operation of machinery.
- Develop preventive maintenance plans and work with customers to manage spare parts inventory and long‑term machine upkeep.
The Successful Applicant
- Strong hands‑on technical experience working with industrial or automated equipment.
- Excellent analytical thinking, problem‑solving skills, and teamwork spirit.
- Minimum 5 years of field service experience, including machine installation and commissioning; experience in beverage, food, or dairy processing/packaging machinery is preferred.
- Advanced electrical engineering skills, including servo systems, PLCs, MLC, and out‑placed equipment used in packaging machinery.
- Advanced mechanical engineering skills with the ability to interpret drawings and perform mechanical adjustments.
- Experience with high‑speed packaging machinery, automation, or robotics
- Knowledge of industrial safety standards
- Strong communication and customer‑facing skills
- Ability to travel frequently
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken)
