Job Description

  • A supervisor is responsible for overseeing the work of a team of employees, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. They play a crucial role in maintaining productivity, morale, and overall team performance.
  • Operations Management: Oversee the daily operations of food and beverage outlets within the hotel, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery.
  • Ensure that work processes are efficient and effective.
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement changes.
  • Monitor productivity levels and take corrective action as needed.
  • Manage inventory and supplies.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise, train, and schedule staff, ensuring they meet performance standards and provide high-quality service.
  • Customer Service: Ensure a high level of guest satisfaction by addressing and resolving any customer complaints or issues promptly and professionally.
  • Foster a positive and customer-oriented culture within the team.
  • Inventory Control: Monitor and manage inventory levels, place orders for supplies, and ensure proper stock rotation and storage.
  • Compliance: Ensure that all food and beverage operations comply with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.

  • Reporting: Prepare and maintain reports on sales, customer feedback, and operational performance for management review.

Cash Handling & Reporting:

Accurately process payments, handle cash transactions, and manage the point-of-sale (POS) system.

Track sales and report daily financials to management.

Identify and suggest improvements to enhance service quality and operational efficiency.

  • Team Management:

Assign tasks and delegate responsibilities to team members.

Monitor and evaluate employee performance.

Provide coaching, feedback, and training as needed.

Address employee concerns and resolve conflicts.

Manage employee schedules and time off requests.

  • Quality Control:

Ensure that work is completed to the highest quality standards.

Establish and maintain quality control procedures.

Inspect work products and identify defects.

  • Safety and Compliance:

Ensure that employees follow safety procedures and regulations.

Conduct safety inspections and address any hazards.

Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

  • Communication:

Communicate effectively with team members, management, and other stakeholders.

Provide clear and concise instructions and expectations.

Keep management informed of team progress and issues.

  • Perform any other duties which may be assigned by the management from time to time.
