Role & Responsibilities:
Position Definition (Key Purpose of the Position):
- As part of the Global Materials Sourcing (GMS) Team, the Regional Operations Engineer Underfoot Platforms will execute seasonal process audit activities related to underfoot Production facilities.
- These include Mold and compound transfers, seasonal mold and SOP checks, quality assessments, raw materials adherence, storage check, production capacity, lab controls, and inspecting components for high impact NPI programs.
- Regional Operations Engineer will support VF's partners in the creation of an appropriate corrective action plan, addressing all issues highlighted during SCP process audits.
- Monitor and track compliance against the CAP, analyzing and communicating risks in cases of non-compliance, finalizing and reporting as CAP issues are closed.
- The Regional Operations Engineer will undertake regular on-site visits to suppliers facilities to monitor adherence to manufacturing SOPs and reporting all issues of non-compliance.
- The Process Improvement Engineer will be accountable for maintaining and distributing the Underfoot Platforms color standards.
