We're looking for Electrical Engineer & Designer based in Vung Tau Office
About the job:
- This role requires expertise in engineering principles, technical calculations, studies, drafting and industry standards to ensure reliability, safety, and cost-effectiveness.
Responsibilities :
- Deliver discipline specific design and drafting services that meet the company's, the client's and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Developing and reviewing detailed electrical designs, including single-line diagrams, schematics, wiring diagrams, layout and details drawings for LV and HV equipment.
- Experience in HV & LV MCC and switchboard design including protection & coordination studies.
- Drafting in software such as AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc. AutoCAD is the preferred package.
- Participating in design review meetings, identify potential risks, or design issues, and proposed effective solutions.
- Communicate effectively and regularly with the project Lead and engineers on design progress, technical matters and resource planning.
Requirement:
- Degree or Diploma in relevant field and discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in electrical design.
- Strong English communication is a MUST.
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc).
- Experience in electrical design software (PowerCad, ETAP, etc).
- Extensive knowledge of electrical design principles, equipment, and systems, including transformers switchgear, circuit breakers, protection relays, and control systems.
- Understanding of relevant Australian industry codes, standards and regulations. In particular, AS3000 Wiring Rules.
