DevOps Engineer

We are looking for highly-skilled DevOps Engineer who will play a crucial role in managing and supporting our platform and its services. This role focusses on developing, maintaining and optimizing the CICD solutions enabling or teams our teams to deliver solutions and services to markets and clients. This position will also provide ample opportunity to learn process and technology for overall development. Responsibilities:

• Build maintain and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines.
• Build modules based on requirement using Jenkins pipeline as code and Github Actions.
• Containerize legacy applications and build custom containers according to compliance.
• Identify and automate manual tasks.
• Create scripts using bash/python.
• Manage DevOps tool upgrade and support POCs.
• Follow the documented process and guidelines.
• Monitor the infrastructure using monitoring tools like Dynatrace.
• Participate in production support activities including data patching, monitoring, incident resolution and problem follow-up for permanent fix.
• Respond to user enquiry, service requests and manage user expectation in day-to-day production issues.
• Proactively document and maintain support knowledge for standard procedures or handling related to application support.
• Ensure high application availability and minimize service disruptions.
• Responsible for ticket resolution within agreed timelines and internal SLAs, measuring/identify potential risk and recommends risk mitigation wherever appropriate.
• Provide timely and regular updates to supervisor and users on ticket resolution progress.
• Provide on call support for the production platform and join support bridge when requested.
• Should be flexible to work in On call Support shift hours (11am to 8pm HKT) and support in the weekends.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree (or its equivalent) in Computer Science/Information Technology
• 3-5 years working experience in DevOps tools and methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native deployment practices.
• Solid understanding of microservice architecture and experience deploying and managing distributed systems.
• Understanding of repo functions like GIT or BITBUCKET/GitHub, and Jira and Confluence
• Knowledge on Logging solutions like ELK.
• Proficiency in automation and scripting (e.g., Bash, Python, or similar) for deployment and infrastructure tasks
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or OpenTofu.
• Fast learner.
• Sound interpersonal, presentation, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong troubleshooting skills/knowledge to be able to identify root causes and mitigation steps.
• Focus on KPI's - Repeated incident ratio, Backlog reduction %, SLAs for resolution, Customer satisfaction and feedback.
• Exposure to Application Monitoring tools like Dynatrace and Azure monitor.
• Experience working with IT Service Management tools like ServiceNow.
• Understanding of DevOps and security best practices.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed for deployment and support.
