Data Engineer

We are looking for a Data Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Azure data services, strong SQL skills, and the ability to build and maintain data pipelines that support analytics and reporting.

Responsibilities:

Design, build, and maintain data pipelines using Azure Data Factory

Develop and optimize data processing workflows using Azure Databricks

Write and optimize SQL queries for data transformation and analysis

Support data modeling and datasets for Power BI reports and dashboards

Ensure data quality, reliability, and performance across data pipelines

Collaborate with Business Analysts, Data Analysts, and stakeholders

Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues in production environments

Document data flows, pipelines, and technical solutions

Required skills:

1+ years of experience as a Data Engineer

Hands-on experience with:

Azure Databricks

Azure Data Factory

SQL (strong querying and optimization skills)

Power BI (data modeling, dataset support)

Experience working with structured data (relational databases)

Understanding of ETL/ELT concepts and data warehousing

Good problem-solving and analytical skills

Ability to work independently and communicate clearly with team members

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (Software Engineering)

TOEIC score: 650 or an equivalent level of English proficiency

Nice to have:

Experience with Azure SQL Database, Azure Synapse, or Data Lake

Basic knowledge of Python or Scala (used in Databricks)

Experience working with international clients

Willingness to support flexible working hours when needed

Years of experience: 1-3 YoE
