ABOUT THE JOB
- Gather, analyze, and clarify business and data requirements with stakeholders.
- Translate business requirements into clear functional and technical specifications.
- Perform data analysis using SQL to validate business rules and investigate data issues.
- Create and maintain source-to-target data mapping documents, data dictionaries, and technical documentation.
- Analyze data flows, integration processes, and ETL logic to ensure data quality and consistency.
- Collaborate closely with Data Engineers, Developers, QA, and Product teams throughout the development lifecycle.
- Support solution design discussions by providing business and data perspectives.
- Participate in data validation, UAT, and production issue investigation when required.
- Identify gaps, risks, and inconsistencies in requirements and proactively propose solutions.
- Ensure documentation is accurate, complete, and aligned with business objectives.
ABOUT YOU
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related technical fields.
- From 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Technical Business Analyst, Data Business Analyst, or similar role.
- Experience working on data-intensive projects such as Data Warehouse, Data Platform, Data Migration, Data Integration, or Analytics.
- Strong experience in requirement gathering and requirement clarification.
- Hands-on experience with data mapping and documenting business/data rules.
- Good understanding of data models, data flows, ETL concepts, and system integration.
- Strong SQL skills for data analysis and validation.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders and engineering teams.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and handle ambiguous or evolving requirements.
