Key Responsibilities
Business Leadership & Strategy
- Develop and execute the Vietnam business strategy aligned with regional objectives.
- Drive profitable revenue growth and market share expansion.
- Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and distribution channels.
- Lead annual business planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes.
Sales & Commercial Excellence
- Develop and execute annual Go-to-Market (GTM) strategy.
- Drive distribution expansion and numeric distribution.
- Improve sales productivity and execution excellence.
- Build strategic partnerships with Modern Trade, General Trade and E-commerce.
- Lead annual Joint Business Planning (JBP) with key customers.
- Drive profitable trade investment and ROI.
Brand & Market Development
- Identify white-space opportunities.
- Expand geographic coverage.
- Increase household penetration.
- Develop new channels and route-to-market strategies.
Financial & Operational Management
- Maintain full P&L accountability for the Vietnam business.
- Ensure sound financial governance, compliance, and risk management.
- Optimize operational efficiency across supply chain, logistics, and commercial processes.
- Monitor business performance through KPIs and data-driven decision-making.
People Leadership
- Build a high-performance, results-oriented culture.
- Develop future leaders and succession plans.
- Drive accountability through KPIs and performance management.
- Lead organizational transformation during periods of rapid growth.
Stakeholder Management
- Act as the primary representative of Ouji Seiyaku in Vietnam.
- Partner closely with regional leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Manage key external stakeholders, government bodies, industry associations, and business partners.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Economics, or related disciplines.
- MBA or postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
- Minimum 12–15 years of leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a Country Manager, Country Head, General Manager, Commercial Director, or equivalent leadership role.
- Strong FMCG experience, preferably within household care, personal care, consumer goods, or related industries.
- Proven track record in delivering revenue growth, profitability, and market expansion.
- Strong P&L management experience and commercial acumen.
- Experience leading multifunctional teams across sales, marketing, finance, supply chain, and operations.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent in English and Vietnamese.
