COST MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST
Location: Sadora Building, No.2, Street 13, Thu Thiem Ward, Thu Duc City, HCMC.
Working hours: 08:00 - 17:00, Monday - Saturday (02 Saturdays / month).
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Manage end-to-end vehicle cost and cost-of-goods across the entire value chain, from procurement and production to distribution and retail, for assigned brands. Develop cost management reporting systems to provide strategic insights and advise Management in operational decision-making and optimizing overall business performance.
- Review cost reports from factories, distribution channels, and dealerships; examine abnormal costs, cost overruns, and inappropriate expenses; provide early warnings on unusual cost fluctuations.
- Consolidate cost structures for new vehicle models and currently marketed models.
- Evaluate cost utilization efficiency and calculate business performance.
- Recommend cost optimization solutions for each stage of the value chain.
- Prepare cost chain analysis reports for the Director of Cost Management.
- Coordinate with relevant departments to establish and standardize information collection workflows, minimizing data errors and reporting delays.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR:
- Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Accounting, Auditing, or related fields. Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, etc. are preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in cost accounting or management accounting.
- Good understanding of policies and regulations related to the automotive industry.
- Strong knowledge of cost structures, with the ability to analyze and control material costs, labor costs, and other expenses; capable of risk control and mitigation.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and reporting skills, especially Excel and Power BI.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to work independently as well as effectively in a team environment.
