Job purpose
The Content & Community Specialist is responsible for executing high-quality content and building meaningful audience engagement across digital platforms to support brand perception and enrollment conversion. This role partners closely with the Marketing Manager to ensure messaging consistency, audience relevance, and effective communication across the student journey. Beyond content execution, the position plays a critical role in translating key messaging into compelling storytelling, capturing audience insights through community interactions, and strengthening engagement touchpoints that support consideration and decision-making.

Roles and Responsibilities
The roles and responsibilities of the Content & Community Specialist includes:
1. Social Media Management
- Plan, create, and manage all content of Fulbright University Vietnam's social media strategy across platforms, including Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, Threads, YouTube, and emerging platforms to enhance engagement and reach targeted audiences.
- Schedule, publish, and maintain content across platforms according to the content calendar
- Monitor performance of posts and basic metrics (reach, engagement, interactions)
- Ensure consistency in tone of voice and visual presentation across channels
- Stay updated on platform trends and suggest content formats accordingly
2. Content Creation & Execution
- Create content tailored to different audience segments (e.g. students, parents, counsellors) and funnel stages, across formats: (social posts, captions, blog articles, emails, short-form videos, livestream scripts, and other emerging platforms)
- Translate key messaging into engaging, platform-specific content
- Develop content angles for campaigns, student stories, and recruitment moments
- Support production of content assets (coordinate with designers, video editors, vendors)
- Ensure content quality, clarity, and alignment with Fulbright's brand
3. Community & Engagement
- Manage interactions across platforms (comments, inbox, community discussions)
- Organize and moderate livestreams, webinars, and online engagement activities
- Lead community-building initiatives (student ambassadors, alumni, parent engagement) and community outreach campaigns
- Capture frequently asked questions and audience concerns to support Admissions
- Provide feedback on audience sentiment and engagement trends
Other duties:
- Contributing to team effort by welcoming new and different work requirements; exploring new opportunities to enhance the services of the department; helping others accomplish related job results as and where needed.
- Other tasks and responsibilities assigned to the Employee by the Company which may be adjusted from time to time.

2. Education:
- Bachelor's degree in English, Marketing, Communications or a related field (or equivalent experience)
3. Employment / Professional Experience:
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Content Marketing, Communications, Community Management, Digital Content, or Growth Marketing roles. High involvement segment is an advantage.
- Proven experience creating and managing content across digital platforms (Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, etc.) with demonstrated engagement outcomes.
- Hands-on experience developing content in multiple formats (social posts, short-form video, blog, email, livestream content).
- Experience working with content management and email systems (e.g., WordPress, MailChimp, or equivalent) and understanding of lead lifecycle management. o Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams (Creative/Studio, Analytics, IT, Admissions or Sales).
- Experience organizing or supporting online engagement activities (e.g., livestreams, webinars, community discussions) is preferred.
- Experience managing agencies or external vendors is preferred.
4. Competencies - Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Strong understanding of content marketing principles, storytelling, and audience engagement across digital platforms.
- Clear understanding of audience segments and content adaptation, with the ability to tailor messaging for different groups (e.g., students, parents) and funnel stages.
- Familiarity with social media platforms, content formats, and platform behaviors, including trends and best practices. o Ability to translate key messaging into engaging, platform-specific content (copywriting, storytelling, basic scripting). o Strong writing and editorial skills in both English and Vietnamese, with attention to tone, clarity, and consistency.
- Understanding of community engagement dynamics, including how to manage interactions, moderate discussions, and maintain positive audience relationships.
- Basic understanding of marketing funnel and conversion logic, with the ability to create content that supports inquiry, consideration, and decision stages.
- Ability to interpret engagement signals and audience feedback (comments, FAQs, sentiment) and translate them into content improvements.
- Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with Marketing, Admissions, and Creative teams.
- High level of ownership, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple content pieces, timelines, and priorities simultaneously.
