Job Purpose
T he Commercial Manager - eCommerce is responsible for leading the commercial team in the development and execution of strategies to drive sales and profitability on eCommerce platforms such as Lazada and Shopee, along with other local eCommerce marketplaces. The Commercial Manager will work closely with the Head of Commercial and other departments to optimize product listings, pricing, and promotional activities to increase customer engagement and revenue.
Accountabilities / Key Responsib i Lities
- Develop and implement eCommerce strategies to drive sales and profitability on Lazada and Shopee, along with other local eCommerce marketplaces
- Work closely with Commercial Director and other departments to optimize product listings, pricing, and promotional activities to increase customer engagement and revenue
- Monitor and analyse eCommerce market trends, customer behaviour , and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth
- Lead the commercial team in the execution of eCommerce initiatives and ensure goals are met
- Prepare and present reports on sales performance, market trends, and other relevant data to senior management
- Monitor and improve the profitability performance of respective brands and areas
- Continuously improve eCommerce processes and systems to increase efficiency and effectiveness
- Collaborate with other teams such as marketing, logistics , and customer service to ensure a seamless customer experience
Qualifications, Experience & Skills/Competencies
- Minimum of 5 years experience in eCommerce, with at least 3 years in a management role
- Strong understanding of eCommerce platforms, marketplaces and trends
- Proven track record of driving sales and profitability on eCommerce platforms
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Strong analytical skills, preferable with P&L knowledge
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
