Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Chief Accountant to lead our accounting operations, ensure statutory compliance, and strengthen internal controls.
Beyond core technical skills, the ideal candidate should have an open and business-partnering mindset-meaning you can work closely with other departments and provide practical financial insights to support company growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise daily accounting activities to ensure accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions.
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries, accruals, adjustments, reconciliations, and reclassifications.
- Ensure all accounting records comply with Vietnamese Accounting Standards (VAS) and tax regulations.
- Manage tax compliance, preparation, and filing for VAT, CIT, PIT, and other local statutory requirements.
- Support the CFO in forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis to back business growth.
- Coordinate and directly work with tax authorities, external auditors, and regulatory bodies during annual audits and tax finalizations.
- Oversee treasury operations, corporate banking coordination, and proactive cash flow management.
- Maintain and optimize the ERP/accounting system (preferably MISA) and internal control frameworks.
- Mentor, guide, and develop the accounting team to ensure a high standard of performance and continuous professional growth.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or related fields.
- Chief Accountant Certification is mandatory.
- Minimum 7 years of progressive accounting experience with least 3 years of experience in a Chief Accountant, Accounting Manager, or equivalent supervisory role.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Company Background: Prior experience working within Foreign-Invested Enterprises (FIEs) or Multinational Corporations (MNCs), or leading domestic corporations.
- Technical Strength: Strong hands-on experience and a good track record in handling tax finalization and tax audit procedures with local authorities.
- Mindset & Soft Skills:
- Open & Adaptive Mindset: Proactive, not confined to traditional accounting boundaries; capable of analytical thinking and collaborative problem-solving.
- Leadership: Strong team management, workload allocation, and people development skills.
- Core Attributes: High level of integrity, sharp eye for detail, and the ability to maintain accuracy under tight pressure.

- Language: Vietnamese/Chinese/English
- Systems: Proficiency in ERP and accounting software (preferably MISA).
