ROLE PURPOSE

The Central Planning Manager will own and oversee store-level demand across the chain to enable centralized procurement, a stable planning cadence, and effective IBP execution.

This role serves as the single source of truth for store demand - balancing service levels, cost, and cash flow.

KEY RESPONSIBILITY

Chain-Level Demand Ownership

• Consolidate store demand across all locations
• Translate sales, recipe, and consumption signals into periodical requirements
• Own demand assumptions and revisions

Cadence & Quantity Decision

• Define delivery cadence (weekly/ bi-weekly) by category
• Decide quantities for procurement execution
• Prevent ad-hoc and last-minute demand changes.

SKU Segmentation & Policy

• Classify SKUs into: Contractable (blanket / master contract), tail / spot-buy
• Define min–max and safety logic where applicable
• Protect procurement leverage by maintaining demand discipline.

Interface with Procurement, Factory & IBP

• Provide credible demand input for: Blanket contract negotiation, supplier cadence commitment
• Represent store demand in S&OP discussions with aligned IBP strategies
• Align trade-offs between service, cost, and cash
• Manager Internal Transfer Order from Factory

Exception Governance

• Review and approve demand exceptions
• Ensure exceptions are visible, measured, and minimized
• Prevent planning erosion through urgent behaviors

KPIs

• Demand stability (revision frequency)
• Cadence adherence
• Reduction in emergency orders / transfers
• Forecast bias & accuracy (where applicable)
• Inventory days impact (must not increase)

QUALIFICATIONS

• 5+ years experience in planning, supply chain, or retail operations
• Fluent in English (both spoken & written)
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills
• Comfortable balancing commercial pressure with discipline
• ERP & planning system experience (Business Central preferred)
