Category Executive

Responsibility:

+ Assist in the timely and accurate maintenance of system, catalogue, orders and promotions

+ Follow up with suppliers to ensure accurate submission of new product listing, promotion proposals, trade plans and trading agreements

+ Proactively recommend and support in the development and implementation of new strategies to boost performance of categories

+ Assist in producing and implementing monthly category performance and market insights to identify category growth gap and opportunities

+ Coordinate and assist to conduct regular competitors price and range survey and regular maintenance of competitor's advertised pricing.

+ Assist in developing product marketing tools and tactics in collaboration with suppliers, brands and local marketing team

+ Follow up with the Operations team to ensure all receiving process is smooth and complete. Note: can handle a small category to develop career of herself/ himself

Requirement:

+ Diploma or Degree in retail, business, or related

+ Preferably 1 years or more of working experience in retail

+ Experience with FMCG/grocery retailers is a plus

+ Ability to manage complexity and be comfortable with ambiguity

+ Good communication and interpersonal skills

+ Entrepreneurial mindset and hands on attitude are a must

+ Ability to work autonomously in a highly demanding and often ambiguous environment, with strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.

+ Very proactive and has ability to handle multiple categories and multitasks

+ Good at Excel

+ Strong task organizational skill, Time management

+ Proficiency in English Language, written and verbal

+ Good at analytical and sale/ data report
