Job Description

Job Summary:

The Compensation & Benefits (C&B) Manager is responsible for designing, managing, and optimizing OnPoint's total rewards strategy, ensuring competitiveness, internal equity, and alignment with business goals. This role oversees payroll, benefits, and performance-related incentives, while providing strategic insights on compensation structures to support talent acquisition, retention, and employee engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Compensation Strategy & Management

  • Develop and manage compensation structures (salary bands, pay scales, allowance policies) aligned with market benchmarks and OnPoint's compensation philosophy.
  • Conduct salary benchmarking and market analysis to ensure competitive pay practices for both local and regional roles.
  • Lead annual salary review and PAP cycle, ensuring fairness and budget alignment.
  • Manage design and administration of incentive schemes, including FO incentives and long-term incentives (e.g. MIP, ESOP).

2. Payroll & Benefits Operations

  • Oversee monthly payroll processing and ensure accuracy and timeliness of payroll, incentives, and related payments.
  • Ensure compliance with tax, social insurance, and labor law regulations.
  • Manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, leaves, and welfare initiatives.
  • Propose and manage non-monetary benefits to enhance employee well-being and engagement.

3. Reporting & Analytics

  • Build and maintain C&B dashboards and reports:
  • Payroll cost per employee, salary costs vs. budget.
  • Headcount, turnover, and demographic analytics.
  • Incentive payment analysis and ROI tracking.
  • Provide regular reports and insights to HR Director and leadership team for strategic decision-making.

4. Policy Governance & Compliance

  • Develop, update, and communicate C&B-related policies to ensure compliance and transparency.
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws, tax regulations, and internal audit standards.
  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors during audits of payroll and benefits processes.

5. Projects & Continuous Improvement

  • Drive HRIS and payroll system enhancements for process automation and data accuracy.
  • Lead process improvement initiatives within payroll and C&B operations to improve efficiency and employee experience.
  • Support organizational initiatives such as total rewards strategy review, performance management framework, and workforce planning.

Requirements:

1. Education background requirements: Bachelor at relevant experience

2. Experience/Competencies requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in C&B or Total Rewards roles, with at least 2 years in a managerial capacity.
  • Solid understanding of Vietnamese labor law, tax regulations, and payroll processes.
  • Experience in salary benchmarking, incentive design, and benefits management.
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven mindset.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and payroll systems.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience in regional or multinational organizations is preferred.
