Job Description – Business Partnership Director

Introduction

The Business Partnership Director plays a critical leadership role in building and scaling Chicilon Media's NFC ecosystem by establishing high-impact partnerships with key platforms including e-commerce (TikTok Shop, Shopee, Lazada), banks, e-wallets, and leading F&B and retail chains.

This role requires a strong strategic mindset, deep understanding of platform ecosystems, and the ability to adapt quickly to new products and evolving market trends. The Director will lead end-to-end partnership development and execution, ensuring the full commercial and operational success of NFC-driven projects—from deal structuring to campaign delivery and performance optimization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop strategic partnerships with major platforms including e-commerce, banks, e-wallets, and F&B chains to expand the NFC ecosystem and unlock new revenue streams.
  • Own the full lifecycle of partnership projects, from ideation, proposal, negotiation, and contracting to execution, performance tracking, and optimization.
  • Design innovative commercial models and collaboration frameworks such as voucher programs, loyalty integration, couponing, sampling, and touch-to-engage solutions tailored to each partner ecosystem.
  • Drive revenue growth by identifying scalable partnership opportunities and ensuring successful commercialization of NFC products across multiple industries.
  • Act as a strategic advisor to partners, translating NFC capabilities into business solutions that deliver measurable impact on user acquisition, engagement, and conversion.
  • Lead cross-functional coordination with internal teams (product, tech, operations, marketing, finance) to ensure seamless and timely execution of all partnership initiatives.
  • Build and maintain strong C-level and senior stakeholder relationships within partner organizations to secure long-term strategic collaboration.
  • Continuously explore new product innovations and adapt partnership strategies to align with evolving market trends, especially within digital commerce and fintech ecosystems.
  • Monitor partnership performance, analyze key metrics, and provide actionable insights to optimize ROI and long-term value creation.
  • Take full ownership and accountability for the success of all assigned projects, ensuring delivery against business targets, timelines, and quality standards.

Requirements

  • Minimum 8–10 years of experience in business development, strategic partnerships, or commercial leadership roles, preferably within e-commerce, fintech, digital platforms, or media.
  • Proven track record of working with or managing partnerships involving platforms such as TikTok Shop, Shopee, Lazada, banks, e-wallets, or large consumer chains.
  • Strong strategic thinking with the ability to design scalable partnership models and translate business objectives into actionable plans.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder projects with full ownership from concept to execution and delivery.
  • Deep understanding of digital ecosystem dynamics including payment systems, online commerce, loyalty programs, and customer engagement models.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with experience engaging senior-level partners.
  • High adaptability and learning agility to quickly understand and deploy new products, technologies, and business models.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience in revenue planning, pipeline management, and performance-driven execution.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, measure effectiveness, and continuously optimize partnership outcomes.
  • Fluent in English, with strong presentation and business communication skills.
