Job Summary:
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving the growth of the company's product portfolio of electronic components. This includes identifying new market opportunities, forming strategic partnerships, expanding client relationships and increasing the revenue stream. The successful candidate will leverage deep market knowledge and sales acumen to understand customer needs and align them with company offerings.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Market Research & Strategy Development:
- Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify, customer needs, and potential growth areas.
- Develop and execute strategic plans to expand the company's footprint in India.
2. Client Acquisition & Relationship Management:
- Identify and establish new customer relationships by targeting potential clients in key markets.
- Engage with existing clients to foster long-term partnerships, ensuring customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Understand client needs and translate them into actionable product/service offerings.
3. Sales & Revenue Growth:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue and profitability targets.
- Lead negotiations and close sales deals for key accounts.
- Present product offerings to clients in a clear, engaging, and informative manner.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with regional headquarter and key stakeholders to ensure customer requirements are met.
- Coordinate with internal teams for timely delivery and customer support, ensuring the highest level of service.
5. Partnerships & Alliances:
- Develop strategic partnerships with key accounts and other stakeholders to increase market share.
- Identify opportunities to collaborate and new business channels.
6. Reporting & Analytics:
- Track and report on business development metrics, sales performance, and pipeline status to senior management.
- Provide regular updates on market conditions, competitor activities and industry trends.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical engineering, Electronics or a related field.
- 5-10 years of experience in business development, sales or distribution within the electronics components industry.
- Experience in IP&E segment and possess established network in the IP&E segment will be highly desirable.
- Proven track record of generating new business and growing existing accounts.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
