Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Contract Logistics Business Development Manager to join our dynamic team in Vietnam. This role will focus on acquiring new customers, nurturing existing client relationships, and driving business growth within the contract logistics sector. Your expertise in understanding client needs and delivering tailored logistics solutions will be key to expanding our client base and maintaining long-term partnerships.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Achieve Sales Targets: Responsible for achieving and exceeding the sales targets set by the company.
  • New Business Development: Proactively identify, target, and generate leads to acquire new customers. Use various sales techniques such as cold calling, networking, email campaigns, and referrals.
  • Sales Presentations & Proposals: Create and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals that address the specific needs and goals of potential customers.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing clients, understand their evolving logistics needs and ensure high levels of satisfaction to secure repeat business.
  • Logistics Solutions Expertise: Develop a deep understanding of the company's contract logistics services, including warehousing, distribution, transportation, and supply chain management, to design tailored solutions for clients.
  • Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients to secure profitable and mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Industry Knowledge: Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitive services to offer the best solutions to clients.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including operations, logistics, and customer service, to ensure successful execution of contracts and customer satisfaction.
  • Client Feedback: Continuously gather feedback from clients to refine services, ensure satisfaction, and identify potential upselling or cross-selling opportunities.
  • Cross-functional Coordination: Collaborate with other departments to develop customized solutions that align with the clients objectives and business requirements.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • Experience: Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in sales and business development within the logistics, supply chain, or freight forwarding industries.
  • Industry Knowledge: Solid understanding of contract logistics services, including warehousing, distribution, and transportation solutions.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Sales Expertise: Proven track record of identifying business opportunities, closing deals, and managing client relationships.
  • Negotiation & Relationship Management: Strong negotiation and consultative selling skills, with a focus on long-term client relationships.
  • Proactive & Results-driven: Self-motivated, with a proactive attitude toward generating new business and exceeding sales targets.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple opportunities simultaneously
