ABOUT THE ROLE
As Business Development Manager, you will lead the commercial growth of ExoTrails B2B business.
Working directly with the Founder, you'll identify new market opportunities, build strategic partnerships, acquire enterprise customers and generate recurring revenue across Vietnam. This isn't about selling an existing product into an existing market. It's about building a new commercial engine for EXO TRAILS.
It is a revenue-owning business development role focused on building an entirely new B2B pillar from the ground up. You'll have the autonomy to shape our go-to-market strategy, influence product direction and help define how EXO TRAILS scales across Vietnam and Southeast Asia.
MARKET YOU'LL OWN
You'll develop strategic partnerships across four key sectors:
• EDUCATION
International schools, universities and youth programmes looking to enhance outdoor education, PE, student wellbeing and experiential learning.
• ENTERPRISE
Corporations seeking innovative employee engagement, wellness, team building, CSR and ESG solutions.
• TOURISM & HOSPITALITY
Tourism boards, destinations, hotels, national parks and hospitality groups creating richer visitor experiences.
• EVENTS & BRANDS
Event organizers, sports communities, agencies and consumer brands delivering memorable outdoor campaigns and activations.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
(Build New Business)
• Develop and manage a high-quality enterprise sales pipeline.
• Identify, qualify and close new B2B opportunities.
• Own the complete sales cycle - from prospecting and discovery through proposal, negotiation, closing and account growth.
• Deliver ambitious revenue and partnership targets.
• Build Strategic Partnerships
• Develop trusted relationships with decision-makers across education, corporate, tourism and government sectors.
• Represent EXO TRAILS at industry events, networking, and partnership opportunities.
SHAPE OUR COMMERCIAL STRATEGY
(Work alongside the Core Team to develop:)
• Go-to-market strategy
• Pricing and commercial packages
• Partnership onboarding
• Market expansion initiatives
• Be the voice of our enterprise customers to continuously improve the platform and deliver solutions that solve real customer challenges.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
(Within your first 3–6 months, you will have:)
• Built a repeatable enterprise sales pipeline.
• Secured flagship customers across multiple sectors.
• Established strategic partnerships with leading organizations.
• Created a scalable commercial sales process.
• Generated recurring B2B revenue.
• Helped establish EXO TRAILS as a trusted enterprise technology partner.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
(We're looking for a commercial builder, not someone looking after an existing portfolio)
You have:
• 3–5+ years in Business Development, Enterprise Sales or Strategic Partnerships.
• Proven commercial experience - building pipeline and revenue stream.
• Full-cycle sales ownership—you've personally taken opportunities from prospecting and discovery through proposal, negotiation and closing.
• A consistent track record of achieving or exceeding revenue targets.
• Strong commercial acumen, consultative selling and negotiation skills.
• Experience managing complex B2B sales cycles with multiple stakeholders.
