JD for Business Development Manager
Purpose:
The Business Development Manager will report to the Managing Director on performing his or her key responsibilities.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage long-term strategic relationships with existing clients
- Create and implement sales strategies and identify new markets to maximize business opportunities
- Locate or propose potential business deals by contacting potential partners, discovering and exploring opportunities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities
- Secure new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts
- Conduct market research, understand and keep up to date with latest industry developments and trends
Professional Skills and Qualifications:
- Degree in Business preferred
- Proven working experience as a business development manager, sales executive or relevant role
- Proven track record of driving sales growth and exceeding targets
- An individual who is willing to persevere in the face of uncertainties and challenges, supported by a highly experienced team
- A team player who adds value to the company and is keen to be a part of this close-knit team
- An eye for identifying campaigns, opportunities and clients in order to develop new and existing businesses
- Exceptional communication skills with a talent for customer interaction at all levels
- Highly motivated, quick-learner, self-starter and willingness to go the extra mile
