BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER (OPEN FOR EXPAT)
Job Summary
The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving business growth through strategic opportunity development and end-to-end sales execution. This role focuses on building a strong pipeline, closing high-value deals, and developing long-term client partnerships.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Business Development & Strategy
- Develop and expand a strong pipeline of industrial clients (factories, FDI, industrial zones) by identifying, targeting, and converting high-potential accounts.
- Develop and execute growth strategies, build and manage a high-quality pipeline of rooftop solar projects to achieve revenue targets.
- Analyze market trends, competitors, and customer insights to refine go-to-market approach and advise strategic direction.
2. Client Acquisition & Relationship Management
- Develop and maintain client relationships while expanding key accounts and networks to drive business growth, and long-term partnerships.
- Manage the entire client lifecycle to ensure seamless communication and high client satisfaction throughout the project journey.
3. Deal Structuring & Negotiation
- Lead end-to-end deal execution from proposal development to contract closure, including pricing, commercial terms in line with the laws, the Company's regulations
- Collaborate with Legal, Finance, and Technical teams to finalize bankable agreements (PPA, EPC)
4. Reporting
- Deliver periodic reports (monthly, quarterly, yearly) on sales performance, pipeline status, and revenue forecasts.
What we're looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or related fields.
- At least 5 years of experience in B2B sales/business development, preferably in industrial sales, renewable energy, or infrastructure.
- Strong networks within industrial zones and experience working with manufacturing or FDI companies is an advantage.
- Good understanding in Vietnam Renewable Energy market and fundamental process of getting permits to develop Renewable project is highly advantage.
- Strong business acumen, strategic thinking and results-oriented leadership.
- Excellent negotiation, deal-closing, and client acquisition skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Good English/ Japanese/ Korean/ Chinese communication is a plus.
- Willing to travel as requested.
