The ideal candidate will lead initiatives to generate and engage with business partners to build new business for the company. This candidate will be focused and have strong communication skills. They should be able to think critically when making plans and have a demonstrated ability to execute a particular strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead pricing committees and develop benchmarks for the sales team
- Drive commercial discussions with clients, distributors, and traders (pricing, stock levels)
- Participate in negotiations and support deal structuring
- Develop and continuously update customer value propositions (CVP) through interviews and client visits
- Evaluate and segment clients based on: premiumization, profitability (incl. cost-to-serve), wallet share growth potential
- Analyze performance of key processors (top clients) and monitor market dynamics (volumes, trends)
- Forecast organic growth across countries and industries
- Manage pipeline execution and track development targets
- Support market prioritization and build supply-demand balances
- Prepare materials for pricing committees and maintain spot price lists in SAP
- Calculate and validate formula-based contracts
- Collect and analyze distributor reports.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in petrochemicals / chemical trading
- Background in Sales / Business Development
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
- Solid client-facing and communication skills
- Experience working with local clients in Vietnam is a strong advantage
- Languages: English — must, Vietnamese — must, Chinese — a plus
- Willingness to travel (up to 30% across Asia, mainly Vietnam)
