Job Overview
The Business Development Lead (BD Lead) will drive all Vietnam-side corporate and enterprise engagement and delivery across in-market business development projects, immersion programmes, and our annual flagship AI conference. This is a full-time role based onsite at our office in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, and reports directly to the BD Director/Head of Business Unit.
Role & Responsibilities
1. Enterprise & Partnership Engagement
Build strong relationships with senior leaders (CIO/CTO/CDO/Directors) in at least one or more key verticals in: education, BFSI, retail, manufacturing, healthcare, and/or technology.
Identify enterprise pain points and gather problem statements that can be matched with innovative technology solutions
Lead business matching delivery by securing qualified enterprise meetings, shaping agendas, and ensuring high-quality engagements and meaningful outcomes
2. Business Matching Programmes
Secure relevant Vietnamese organisations to contribute problem statements and join business matching activities
Secure Vietnamese companies to host site visits and corporate sharing sessions
Work with the team to deliver an outstanding Vietnam-side experience with real insights, opportunities, and outcomes
3. Annual Flagship Event
Drive Vietnam-side BD for corporate/enterprise participation
Sponsorship and exhibition sales support with Vietnamese corporates and startups
Coordinate internally with Sales and Marketing to deliver Vietnam-side BD targets
Are you the right fit
5+ years experience in B2B BD, sales, partnerships, corporate innovation, or consulting
Strong network in at least one key Vietnam enterprise vertical (e.g., BFSI, retail, manufacturing, healthcare, education, technology)
Excellent communication skills in Vietnamese & English
Confidence in engaging C-level and Director-level stakeholders
Strong organisational skills with the ability to balance strategy and hands-on execution
Understanding of enterprise digital transformation and innovation trends
Comfortable in a fast-paced, multi-project, cross-border environment
A collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal skills
Experience managing junior team members is a plus
A good sense of humour — always a bone-us
