Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION

1. New Client Hunting & Development

  • Proactively search for potential clients: FDI enterprises, companies opening new offices, companies relocating/expanding, developers, PMCs, and leasing agents.
  • Generate leads through multiple channels: networking, LinkedIn, cold calls/emails, industry events, referrals, as well as real estate and industrial park networks.

2. Project Opportunity Exploitation & Development

  • Approach potential clients and present the company's credentials and capabilities.
  • Identify and clarify client needs, timelines, budgets, decision-makers, and the tender process.
  • Evaluate project feasibility and prioritize high-potential opportunities for follow-up.

3. FDI Client Consultation & Account Management

  • Meet and consult directly with clients in English regarding the Design & Build process, timelines, and workplace solutions.
  • Monitor and nurture client relationships throughout the entire sales cycle.

4. Proposal & Tender Coordination

  • Coordinate with the Design team, QS, PM, and Marketing to prepare design proposals, fee proposals, pitch decks, and tender documents.
  • Track tender progress; support negotiations regarding the scope of work, pricing, timelines, and commercial terms until the contract is successfully signed.

5. Partnership Building & Repeat Business

  • Build and expand networks with leasing agencies, building management, PMCs, real estate consultants, and vendors.
  • Maintain post-project relationships, develop repeat clients, and leverage referrals.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Architecture, Construction, Interior Design, or related fields.
  • Minimum of 2–5 years of experience in Business Development / B2B Sales.
  • Preferred: Experience in Office Design & Build, Interior Fit-out, Real Estate, or Workplace Consulting.

Professional Knowledge

  • Understanding of the Office Design & Build process, fit-out works, and the tender process.
  • Basic knowledge of fit-out costs and construction timelines—sufficient to consult effectively and build trust with clients.

Skills & Personality

  • Strong networking, needs-discovery, negotiation, and closing skills.
  • Professional communication and presentation skills; confident in meetings with foreign clients.
  • English: Good communication, professional emailing and presentation skills, capable of running meetings with FDI clients.
  • Proactive, dynamic, resilient, capable of handling sales targets, and highly driven with a strong sense of ownership.
