Key Responsibilities
Sales & Market Development
- Identify and approach potential customers by assigned territory, industry, or product through various channels such as internal databases, telesales, social media, exhibitions, and referrals.
- Introduce and consult suitable products or services based on customer needs and business objectives.
- Coordinate with relevant internal departments to conduct needs assessments, product demonstrations, and prepare quotations.
- Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline and customer network.
Negotiation & Deal Closing
- Work directly with customers to negotiate commercial terms, including pricing, delivery schedules, payment terms, and after-sales policies.
- Clearly explain contract terms and support customers throughout the ordering and contracting process.
- Handle customer objections and concerns in a professional and solution-oriented manner.
- Build trust and long-term relationships to encourage repeat business.
Customer Care & Relationship Management
- Provide after-sales support, follow up on delivery progress, and coordinate internal teams to resolve issues arising during or after delivery.
- Proactively introduce new or additional products that align with customers evolving needs.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer information in the CRM system or platforms required by the Company.
- Ensure consistent and professional communication with customers.
Market & Competitor Research
- Monitor industry trends, customer needs, and competitor activities.
- Collect and report market insights, pricing information, and customer feedback to support business decisions.
- Contribute ideas and suggestions to improve sales strategies and customer experience.
Sales Process Compliance
- Execute sales activities in compliance with company procedures, including quotation, order confirmation, contract preparation, delivery coordination, and invoicing.
- Adhere to internal policies on pricing, discounts, delivery, and data confidentiality.
- Ensure accuracy and professionalism in all sales-related documentation.
Planning & Reporting
- Develop weekly and monthly sales plans and customer engagement activities.
- Prepare sales reports, customer pipelines, and deal status updates as required.
- Analyze sales activities and provide suggestions for continuous improvement.
Internal Coordination
- Coordinate closely with warehouse, accounting, technical, and related teams to ensure smooth order execution.
- Monitor order progress from contract signing to delivery, payment, and after-sales support.
- Proactively communicate and escalate potential risks related to delivery delays or customer changes.
Requirements
- Experience in business development, or a related field (B2B experience in industry is an advantage).
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Good planning, reporting, and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools is a plus.
