Your Role And Responsibilities

As a Brand Sales Specialist for IBM Integration offerings, you will be responsible for driving sales growth by creating demand and progressing opportunities to close for webMethods API Management, webMethods Integration, and StreamSets. This role requires a strong ability to identify and pursue new sales opportunities, working closely with clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Create Demand and Opportunities: Develop and execute strategies to create demand and identify new sales opportunities for webMethods API Management, webMethods Integration, and other IBM integration offerings, driving growth and revenue expansion.
  • Progress Opportunities to Close: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions to progress opportunities through the sales cycle and ultimately close deals.
  • Solution Delivery: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions that meet client needs, ensuring seamless integration and implementation of IBM Integration offerings.

Required Technical And Professional Expertise

  • Technology Solution Sales: Experience with creating demand and progressing opportunities to close for integration and API management technologies, such as webMethods API Management and webMethods Integration.
  • Client Needs Analysis: Experience in working closely with clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions, driving growth and revenue expansion.
  • Product Knowledge: Experience with IBM Integration products, including their capabilities, applications, and implementation requirements.
  • Sales Strategy Development: Experience developing and executing strategies to identify new sales opportunities and drive sales growth for specific products or technologies.
  • Solution Implementation: Experience collaborating with internal stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions that meet client needs, ensuring seamless integration and implementation.

Preferred Technical And Professional Experience

  • Technology Solution Sales Expertise: Experience with creating demand and progressing opportunities to close for integration and API management technologies beyond webMethods API Management and webMethods Integration is beneficial.
  • Additional Product Knowledge: Familiarity with products similar to webMethods , including their capabilities, applications, and implementation requirements, can be an asset.
  • Advanced Sales Strategy Development: Experience developing and executing complex strategies to identify new sales opportunities and drive sales growth for multiple products or technologies is advantageous.
