POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking a professional and dynamic Bilingual (E-V) Host & Social Media Coordinator to support communication and public engagement activities across two key initiatives: a globally recognized science and technology foundation and a sustainability-focused community foundation. This role requires a strong ability to communicate with diverse audiences, from international scientists and experts to local communities, while ensuring consistent, high-quality content across digital platforms.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Hosting & Public Engagement
- Serve as a bilingual (Vietnamese – English) host/emcee for a wide range of events, including scientific conferences, award ceremonies, community programs, and stakeholder engagements
- Conduct interviews with scientists, experts, partners, and community representatives
- Represent the organizations in video content, livestreams, and media activities
- Ensure all public-facing communication reflects a professional, credible, and consistent brand voice
2. Social Media Management
- Develop and execute social media strategies aligned with organizational priorities
- Manage content calendars across key platforms (Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, and others as relevant)
- Oversee the production and publishing of multimedia content, including videos, event coverage, and campaign materials
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure timely and effective content delivery
3. Content Development
- Develop and deliver bilingual content (captions, scripts, articles, and talking points)
- Translate complex topics in science, technology, and sustainability into clear and accessible communication
- Support the development of communication campaigns and key messaging frameworks
4. Audience Engagement & Performance Monitoring
- Monitor audience interactions and maintain active engagement across platforms
- Track performance metrics and provide insights to optimize content effectiveness
- Support the growth and management of online communities, particularly among students and young professionals
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field
- Fluency in Vietnamese and English, both written and spoken
- Proven experience in event hosting/emceeing and/or on-camera presentation
- Strong experience in social media management and content production
- Ability to communicate complex topics in a structured and engaging manner
- Strong interpersonal skills and a professional presence
