As an Associate Project Manager, you will act as the primary project lead for onsite and remote data collection projects. This role owns end-to-end project delivery while playing a key role in developing and scaling Appen's data collection initiatives, ensuring high-quality execution, cross-functional alignment, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overseas Project Delivery Management: Responsible for end-to-end tracking of overseas data annotation project delivery, ensuring project timelines and quality meet client requirements.
- Client Communication & Requirement Management: Interface with international clients, translate their requirements into actionable internal delivery plans, provide project updates, address feedback, and drive issue resolution.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Coordinate communication among internal annotation teams, quality teams, and clients to ensure efficient and transparent information flow, while addressing cross-time-zone and cross-cultural communication challenges.
- Process Optimization & Delivery Experience: Drive standardization of overseas annotation delivery processes, optimize workflows, and enhance overall client delivery experience and satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree or above. Majors in Engineering Management, Computer Science, Automation, or related fields are preferred.
- Project Experience: Experience in autonomous driving or embodied intelligence annotation projects is preferred. Experience in overseas project delivery or multi-regional team collaboration is a plus.
- Skills & Competencies: Strong English reading and writing skills, with the ability to independently handle international client communication. Excellent communication, coordination, and project management skills, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Language Requirements: Proficiency in both Chinese and English as working languages.
