Job Description:
- Provide day-to-day legal and compliance advice to business stakeholders across a wide range of topics including platform products and features, product liability, and logistics matters.
- Review new programs, features and services and provide pragmaticadvice to business stakeholders, including drafting internal and external facing policies.
- Proactively work with business stakeholders to review commercial frameworks, identify legal gaps and develop compliance plans.
- Monitor legal landscape and coordinate correspondence/engagement with regulatory authorities.
- Provide internal trainings as required.
- Performing ad hoc legal initiatives as aligned with business strategy.
Requirements:
- Qualified lawyer with a degree/Masters/JD from a reputable law school and experience with a top tier law firm. In-house experience in e-commerce/internet platforms is a plus.
- Strong analytical and communication skills, with ability to lead projects as required
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams from different cultural and professional backgrounds.
- Ability to analyze business risks and provide pragmatic legal advice in a dynamic environment.
