Assistant Warehouse Manager

Job Summary

The Assistant Warehouse Manager supports the Warehouse Manager in overseeing daily operations

of Raw Materials (RM), Packaging Materials (PM), and Finished Goods (FG) warehouses. The role

ensures efficient planning, receiving, storage, picking, and dispatch activities with high accuracy and

safety standards.

This position plays a key role in driving warehouse optimization, implementing WMS systems,

enhancing team capability, managing inventory health (including SLOB and blocked stock), and

supporting continuous improvement initiatives across warehouse operations

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee inbound/outbound activities for raw, packaging, and finished goods warehouses, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Manage inventory control, including cycle counting, SLOB, and blocked stock reduction.
• Support WMS implementation, staff training, and digitalization efforts.
• Coordinate with production, supply chain, QA, and logistics for planning and dispatch.
• Ensure safety, 5S standards, and process optimization through continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist in setting up new warehouse layouts and processes, ensuring operational readiness.
• Lead team development, training, and performance management.

Qualification and Experience Required

Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or related field

At least 5 years of experience in warehouse operations (manufacturing environment

preferred)

Experience in lubricant, chemical, FMCG, or similar industries is an advantage

Hands-on experience with WMS / ERP systems
