Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Phước Hòa for an Assistant Warehouse Manager. Act as the second-in-command of Warehouse operations, responsible for coordinating daily warehouse activities, managing supervisors and manpower allocation, and ensuring smooth execution of Receiving, Picking, and Shipping operations.

  • Coordinate daily warehouse operations and balance manpower across Receiving, Picking, and Shipping areas.
  • Supervise and guide Warehouse Supervisors to ensure consistent execution of procedures and work standards.
  • Review daily plans, workload, and progress; take corrective actions to meet operational targets.
  • Make operational decisions related to manpower adjustment, task prioritization, and workflow optimization.
  • Ensure smooth coordination between warehouse teams and other functions (Production, Planning, Logistics).
  • Monitor compliance with safety rules, 5S standards, and warehouse discipline.
  • Handle operational issues, incidents, or delays and escalate critical matters to Warehouse Manager.
  • Lead daily briefings, toolbox talks, and communication at warehouse floor level.
  • Support implementation of warehouse improvements and standardization initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Warehouse, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in warehouse operations.
  • At least 2 years of experience as Warehouse leadership role.
  • Proven capability in people leadership and cross-team coordination.
  • Ability to make quick and sound operational decisions.
  • Good English communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations across Receiving, Picking, and Shipping.
  • Knowledge of manpower planning, workload balancing, and shift coordination.
  • Solid understanding of warehouse safety, 5S, and operational discipline.
  • Familiarity with ERP/WMS transactions related to warehouse execution.
  • Basic understanding of performance KPIs and operational reporting.
