Position Responsibilities:
- Going to the scene: Search for signs and assess the situation surrounding the accident. Check for indicators (observe wounds, surface traces, locations, and related vehicles). Record information using a camera or phone to take photos of the scene and document it.
- Search for witnesses (contact people present at the scene to gather information). Record testimonies (ask about what they heard and saw, and carefully note every detail).
- Interview the insured, witnesses, and related individuals.
- Check and verify information (compare testimonies from different witnesses to find the truth).
- Verify evidence: work directly with hospitals, police, and relevant authorities...
- Collect evidence: Create an evidence list (including photos, videos, recordings, documents...).
- Save evidence (ensure evidence is stored safely and is not lost or damaged).
- Analyze data. Review the collected information (analyze the evidence and testimonies to determine the cause of the accident). Utilize tools and software for effective data analysis.
- Final investigation report: Draft an incident report with clear conclusions and supporting evidence.
- Suggest actionable solutions to address the identified issues. Recommend preventive measures to mitigate future risks.
Required Qualifications:
- Relevant Experience: Prior experience in law enforcement, private investigation, fraud examination, or a related field is typically required. Experience in specific industries (e.g., insurance, finance) can be beneficial.
- Legal Knowledge: Thorough understanding of legal principles, regulations, and ethical standards related to investigations.
- Police, Law, Finance, Economy.
- A bachelor's degree in criminal justice, criminology, law enforcement, or a related field is often required. Advanced degrees or specialized certifications can be advantageous.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certifications from recognized institutions, such as Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), Certified Financial Crime Specialist (CFCS), or equivalent, can enhance credibility and expertise.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to assess complex situations, analyze data, and draw accurate conclusions.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure that no piece of evidence or information is overlooked.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interviewing witnesses, writing reports, and presenting findings.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to think creatively and solve problems efficiently under pressure.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with investigative tools and technologies, such as data analysis software, surveillance equipment, and information management systems.
- Research Skills: Strong research skills to gather and verify information from various sources.
