Purpose and Scope
Drive and implement growth strategy by sourcing for new business deals in emerging Vietnam markets.
Key Roles And Responsibilities
- Investment Origination & Strategy
- Identify and evaluate new investment opportunities across:
- Industrial properties (Ready-built factories/warehouses)
- Data center developments (hyperscale, wholesale, JV structures)
- Other strategic initiatives aligned with platform growth
- Conduct market research and track key trends (rental rates, land pricing, demand drivers, etc.)
- Support development of investment strategies, entry structures, and market expansion roadmaps
- Financial Analysis & Underwriting
- Build and maintain detailed financial models
- Perform feasibility studies, valuation, and risk analysis for potential investments
- Conduct scenario testing (leasing assumptions, exit multiples, capital structure, etc.)
- Prepare investment recommendations and clearly articulate risks and returns
- Deal Execution
- Support end-to-end execution of transactions including:
- Due diligence (legal, financial, technical, commercial)
- Structuring (JV, lease, development agreements, platform-level partnerships)
- Investment Committee (IC) materials and approvals
- Coordinate cross-functionally (legal, finance, design, construction, external advisors) to close transactions
- Engage with partners (developers, vendors, financial institutions) during negotiations
- New Initiative Development
- Work on new verticals or strategic initiatives as directed (e.g., digital infrastructure, utilities-linked assets)
Qualification, Skills, And Experience
- Degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Real Estate, or relevant field of study.
- Minimum 5 years relevant working experiences (e.g. Investment, Financial Due Diligence, M&A Advisory). Experience in warehouse development or industrial park land plot acquisition in Vietnam is preferable.
- Having experience conducting FS, valuation, due diligence, and investment review in Real Estate is an added advantage.
- Good business acumen and interpersonal skills.
- A strong network with Vietnam developers, industry key players & government authorities is a plus.
- Solid understanding of legal framework of real estate business, esp. industrial property for lease business is a plus.
- Strong communication, fluency in spoken and written English, knowledge in a 3rd language is a plus.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PPT)
- Strong problem solving, organizational and analytical skills.
- Outcome driven and ability to flourish with minimal guidance.
- Must be willing to travel to North, Central and South of Vietnam.
