As an Assistant Boutique Manager, you will be a Person-in-charge in managing the overall performance and profitability of a Boutique. You will lead your team to maximize sales opportunities, deliver unique and timeless client experience, build excellent client relationships and maintain Boutique image. You will also be responsible for setting ambitious professional goals, inspiring your staff to higher performance, encouraging collaborations in the Boutique with your strategic and entrepreneurial mindset.

Job responsibilities

Drive and Grow Business Performance o Oversee all aspects of Boutique business to ensure Boutique objectives are met o Create a clear and positive vision for the Boutique that in line with the Company and develop strategic & ambitious professional goals for the staff to follow o Daily follow up of sales and motivate the staff to maximize sales, maintain sales mix and achieve exceptional results o Drive for the highest level of selling techniques, client service, clientele and product knowledge in the Boutique to deliver the best Dior service to our clients o Monitor Boutiques P&L performance, minimize loss, asset protection and risk management o Stay abreast of the retail environment and identify potential retail development opportunity to Management o Able to embrace changes, implement new ideas and take corrective measures when required Client Development Management o Lead the Boutique to increase client flow and maximize recruitment opportunities o Encourage and promote clientele in the Boutique to ensure the highest level of client experience is delivered and consistently maintained o Work with CDM team closely about the execution of all client development initiatives and programs o Guarantee the use of Be Dior in the Boutique for clients loyalty maximization o Serve as a Brand ambassador to develop client network and represent the Boutique to create Brand desirability o Lead the team to establish and maintain strong, trusty and long-term relationships with important clients o Coordinate in-store events which include seasonal sales, trunk shows etc. and participate in the events outside the Boutique People Management and Development o Translate the strategic business goals into concrete individual goals, monitor and assess staff performance against their goals regularly to make sure the progress is on the right track o Delegate the job to the team in an efficient and effective manner o Manage the team with constructive & qualitative feedback, coaching and identify the training needs of the staff o Identify manpower needs, recruit and retain talents for the right manpower mix o Understand individual career aspiration as well as potential for staff development o Review the organizational structure and develop successors for key positions o Empower the managers to build their own teams and coach them to manage their subordinates o Provide directions and closely follow up with the direct reports on the work progress o Be an advocate to accept creative & innovative ideas and convert to actions o Create a good team spirit, encourage and promote curiosity, diversity & collaboration, and enhance synergies of the Boutique o Maintain a harmonious working environment Boutique Operations Management o Oversee the daily operations of the Boutique o Maintain the stock level to be enough for supporting the business and prevent stock loss o Coordinate retail activities with internal departments including Merchandising, Visual Merchandising and Client Development in order to synergize the needs of all departments in achieving common corporate objectives o Maintain the upkeep of selling space, visual merchandising and image of the store that are in Dior standard o Implement and monitor daily work schedule for optimizing Boutique resources o Guarantee all the internal procedures & guidelines are in line with Dior requirements o Regular update of Boutique status and prepare necessary reports to management

Profile

Education & Professional Qualifications o Diploma or university graduate from Business Administration, Hospitality, Marketing or related discipline Work Experience o Minimum 9 years of relevant working experience with at least 6 years at managerial level in luxury retail industry Other Requirements o Target-oriented and client focus o Strategic thinking and well organized o Capability to drive for results and deliver excellence o Entrepreneurial spirit and able to embrace change o Strong leadership and management skills o Strong communication and interpersonal skills o Self-motivated, proactive and passionate in luxury fashion industry o Able to work under pressure
