BASIC FUNCTION OF THE JOB
This role plays a key role in supporting the Accounting Manager and Finance Manager in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring timely month-end closing, and managing the company's fixed asset and general accounting activities. This position is responsible for performing detailed reconciliations, preparing financial analyses, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and statutory requirements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITY
1. General Accounting & Financial Reporting
- Prepare, analyze, and validate financial data to support monthly, quarterly, and yearly closing activities.
- Perform General Ledger (GL) booking and ensure accuracy of journal entries.
- Conduct reconciliation of balance sheet accounts, including bank reconciliations.
- Prepare financial reports and provide variance analysis as required.
2. Accounts Payable (AP) & Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Review AR and AP aging reports and follow up on outstanding items.
- Review payment proposals, verify payment lists, and ensure compliance with approval procedures.
- Perform AP mapping and process debit notes accurately.
3. Fixed Assets & Expense Management
- Maintain and monitor the fixed asset register, including asset additions, disposals, transfers, and depreciation.
- Review and analyze fixed and mixed expenses to ensure correctness and proper cost allocation.
- Support CAPEX control and reporting.
4. Compliance & Internal Control
- Ensure adherence to accounting standards, company policies, and statutory regulations.
- Support internal and external audit requirements.
5. Other Responsibilities
- Work cross-functionally with departments to collect information and resolve accounting issues.
- Provide support for ERP processes and system enhancement initiatives.
- Perform other tasks assigned by the Accounting Manager, Finance Manager, or higher management.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in AR, AP, CAPEX, and Inventory accounting is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reconciliation.
- Proficient in ERP systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Good English communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
- Strong time management, organizational, and negotiation skills.
- Structured, systematic, and able to work independently with a high level of responsibility.

- Working time: 40 hrs/week (flexible)
