Job Summary
The Area Sales Specialist (Vietnam Market) will be responsible for driving primary, secondary, and B2C sales within the assigned territory, managing distributor and retailer relationships, and expanding market presence for our engine oil and lubricant products. The role requires strong selling skills, negotiation capabilities, and deep understanding of local market dynamics, especially within mechanic workshops, retail channels, and end-consumer segments.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Achieve primary, secondary, and B2C sales targets as assigned by the management.
- Manage, support, and build strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and workshop owners to drive consistent business growth.
- Engage end-customers through field activities such as mechanic meets, retail promotions, consumer engagement programs, and product demos.
- Implement sales schemes, promotional offers, and brand campaigns effectively across all B2B and B2C channels.
- Identify potential customers (B2B and B2C), assess new market opportunities, and support market expansion strategies.
- Maintain strong product and technical knowledge while staying updated on competitor activities, pricing trends, and consumer preferences
Professional Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline; Master's degree is an added advantage.
- 35 years of proven experience in sales, preferably in the automotive, lubricant, FMCG, or B2C retail sector.
- Strong selling, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Excellent communication in Vietnamese and good in English.
- Good geographical knowledge of the assigned territory (HCMC / Hanoi)
