DESCRIPTION:
Currently, our client is looking to build a dynamic team of Mobile App Developers from Junior to Senior and Lead level. As the Mobile Development Leader, you will define the technical vision and drive the success of our mobile engineering team in Vietnam. You will lead architectural decisions, set coding standards, and mentor the team to deliver high-quality, scalable, and secure applications. Partnering with product owners and stakeholders, you will translate business needs into long-term technical strategies. This role requires exceptional logical thinking, a strategic mindset, and proven leadership to build and inspire a dynamic, high-performing mobile squad.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Define and own the mobile development strategy, ensuring alignment with global business goals.
- Oversee the entire mobile engineering team (iOS, Android, React Native) in Vietnam, ensuring productivity and growth.
- Set coding standards, architecture guidelines, and engineering practices across squads.
- Partner with global stakeholders (Product, Design, Business, QA) to drive roadmap planning and delivery.
- Anticipate industry trends and propose strategic adoption of new technologies (e.g., SwiftUI evolution, Jetpack Compose, cross-platform frameworks).
- Build and nurture a dynamic engineering culture: attract, mentor, and retain top mobile talent.
- Manage delivery timelines, budgets, and resource allocations.
- Ensure application scalability, security, and compliance with industry best practices.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 7+ years of experience in mobile application development, with around 4-5 years in a leadership/managerial role.
- Expertise in Swift, SwiftUI, Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and knowledgable/experience with React Native integration.
- Proven experience in designing and scaling mobile architectures for enterprise-grade applications.
- Strong logical and strategic mindset: ability to balance immediate delivery needs with long-term technical vision.
- Track record of building, managing, and scaling high-performing mobile teams.
- Strong business acumen and communication skills; able to influence and align stakeholders across functions.
- Experience with CI/CD, automated testing frameworks, mobile security, and performance optimization.
- Prior exposure to global, distributed squads in Agile delivery environments is highly valued.
- Good communication and collaboration skills in English.
