Android Framework Engineer

This is a contract, on-site role for an Android Framework Engineer, based in Hanoi. The engineer will contribute to designing, developing, and maintaining Android framework components, collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance system performance and functionality. Responsibilities include debugging and troubleshooting framework issues, optimizing code for efficiency, implementing new features, and ensuring compliance with project requirements and timelines.

• Strong proficiency in Android Framework development, including experience with Android SDK, NDK, and AOSP
• Hands-on knowledge of Java, Kotlin, and C++ programming
• Experience troubleshooting, debugging, and optimizing Android framework components
• Familiarity with Android performance profiling tools and memory management
• Understanding of multithreading, system processes, and IPC mechanisms
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts effectively
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Experience in the automotive industry and knowledge of its software standards is a plus
• Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail and commitment to project deadlines
