Automotive Android Framework Engineer

Key responsibilities:

• Participate in demand analysis, Android platform framework construction and software architecture design, key technology selection, etc.
• Maintenance and expansion of the Android platform framework layer
• Complete software development/unit testing according to the design plan to ensure that the product meets the system design goals
• During the product development process, be responsible for analyzing and solving technical difficulties encountered in Android development
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless product development

Job requirements:

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related fields
• Proficient in the framework principles of the Android development platform, have an in-depth understanding of the Android software architecture, and proficient in using Android SDK, NDK, JNI,...
• Experience in customizing Android frameworks: PowerManager, USB, ActivityManager, WindowManager, Vold, Audio, Surfaceflinger, ...
• Solid programming skills in C/C++/JAVA, strong grasp of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
• Proficiency in Python, shell,.. for scripting and automation tasks
• Experience in Android application development with a demonstrated ability to learn and adapt quickly.
• Experience in upgrading Android OS is a strong plus.
• Experience in system troubleshooting, performance optimization and stability enhancement is preferred
• Familiar with Linux kernel, driver structure, and understanding various peripherals and protocol stacks is preferred
• Automotive development experience is preferred
• Familiar with automotive communication protocols such as CAN, Ethernet is preferred
