ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a mid-senior Analyst to act as the primary bridge between business leadership and technical delivery teams. This role is for a strategic thinker who understands the business landscape and can identify exactly where AI can create the most value.
As an Analyst, your focus is on the Why and the What. You will be responsible for diagnosing business problems, framing them for technical teams, and ensuring the final solution delivers a clear return on investment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Discovery and Strategy to frame business use case
- Client Needs Translation & Problem Framing:
- Lead the analysis of client business challenges, pain points, and strategic goals, translating them into clear, solvable problems for AI/ML applications.Develop and articulate compelling value propositions for proposed AI/ML solutions
- Extract business workflow service blueprint information to better understand customer journey in order to identify gaps and opportunity for improvement
- Data Exploration for Business Use Cases:
- Proactively analyze and explore client data (or analogous public/industry data) to uncover hidden patterns, insights, and specific business use cases where AI/ML can drive significant impact.
- Identify key data sources, assess data quality, and determine data readiness for AI/ML initiatives.
- Organizational Data Capability Assessment:
- Conduct in-depth assessments of a client's current data infrastructure, data governance, data quality, and overall data maturity level.
- Identify gaps and provide initial, realistic advice on AI/ML strategy and a roadmap for enhancing data capabilities.
2. Inception Framework Delivery
- Why We Are Here:
- Define initial AI/ML project objectives, scope, and success metrics from a business perspective, ability to bridge AI and ML into the business statement.
- The Elevator Pitch
- Create a concise summary of the project's value, target users, and primary differentiation.
- Product Vision & Scope
- Establish a clear vision board and define In vs. Out lists to manage expectations and prevent scope creep.
- Trade-off Sliders
- Prioritize project constraints—Scope, Budget, Time, and Quality—to guide decision-making during the lifecycle.
- Roadmap Creation
- Help create What's Next plans and ROI (return on investment) models to show the value of the AI project.
3. Client Facing & Approaches
- Client Engagement & Requirements Elicitation:
- Facilitate client workshops, interviews, and discovery sessions to elicit detailed functional and non-functional requirements for AI/ML solutions.
- Act as a primary liaison between client business stakeholders and the internal technical team.
- Solution Conceptualization & Collaboration:
- Collaborate closely with AI Solutions Consultants to ensure business requirements are technically feasible and well-understood for rapid prototyping efforts.
- Contribute to the design and conceptualization of initial AI/ML solution architectures.
- Public Advocacy & Educationto promote AI
- Public speaking to educate potential clients on the transformative power of AI/ML, simplifying complex technical concepts into clear business benefits.
- Develop and deliver compelling presentations and proposals that articulate the value and ROI of AI/ML solutions.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
The Must-Haves (Mid-Senior Skillset):
- Technical Liaison: You can explain technical AI concepts to a non-tech manager without using confusing jargon.
- Analytical Mind: Able to identify hidden gaps and patterns in data is essential.
- Agile Experience: You've worked in environments where you build and test things quickly.
- Commercial Acumen: A deep understanding of enterprise workflows and how AI moves the needle on corporate KPIs.
The Bonus Points (Career Background):
- The Technical Pivot: You are a Career Switcher with a background as a Data Scientist (DS), AI Engineer (AIE), or Technical Consultant looking to move into a strategic track.
- Visual Storytelling: Experience with Looker, Tableau, PowerBI, or Miro to visualize complex data insights or ideas
- Applied AI Knowledge: A working understanding of the current LLM landscape, RAG architectures, and the deployment of AI Agents.
