We're hiring an Accounts Payable Specialist
At Atlantic Gate, we are a growing international freight forwarding company with a strong focus on quality, reliability, and operational excellence. To strengthen our Finance team in Vietnam, we are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Payable Specialist to join us.
Your Role
As part of our finance team, you will ensure smooth and accurate Accounts Payable operations, supporting daily transactions and maintaining strong financial control in a dynamic, international environment.
Your Responsibilities
- Manage the full Accounts Payable (AP) cycle – invoice verification, posting, and payment processing
- Prepare payment runs and ensure proper approval workflows
- Monitor and reconcile bank transactions
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records
- Support VAT reporting and compliance with local regulations
- Organize and maintain accounting documentation for audits
- Liaise with vendors and internal stakeholders on payment-related matters
- Support month-end closing and account reconciliation
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and efficiency
What You Bring
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 2–3 years experience in Accounts Payable or accounting
- Solid understanding of accounting principles
- Strong Excel skills (e.g. Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP)
- Detail-oriented, reliable, and structured working style
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Experience in logistics/forwarding is a plus
- Good English skills (additional languages are an advantage)
