Accounts Payable Specialist

Job Description:

• Responsible for booking accounts payable transactions to company suppliers in a timely and accurate manner.
• Regularly monitor Accounts Payable (AP) statements and perform expense reconciliations to ensure proper recording and settlement.
• Review and verify supplier payment requests, ensuring all required documentation and approvals are in place.
• Participate in the preparation of monthly and quarterly group financial reports.
• Prepare VAT, WHT, and CIT declarations, and ensure all supporting documentation is complete and compliant with local tax regulations.
• Review taxable revenue and deductible expenses to ensure accuracy and compliance for Corporate Income Tax (CIT) filings.
• Reconcile tax expenses and deferred tax entries in the accounting books.
• Liaise with external tax consultants to address and resolve any arising tax issues.
• Responsible for the annual Transfer Pricing Documentation (TPD) preparation.
• Support inventory booking and reconciliation processes, and assist in running product costing calculations.
• Participate in testing and verifying ERP system functionalities related to the accounting and finance modules.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the Accounting Manager, CFO, or Board of Management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor&aposs in Accounting, Auditing, or related fields.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in accounting, with a strong focus on accounts payable, tax compliance, and financial reporting.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
• Experience in working with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Fluency in English (both written and spoken) is a plus.
• Prior experience working in a multinational or group reporting environment is preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines under pressure.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
