We're looking for Accounting Manager to bring your talent to Noventiq Vietnam. You'll be a part of our Finance team.
Job Overview: As the senior and key finance person in the country you will be responsible for overall financial and accounting matters, this role requires good time management skills, good team management skills, and self-driven initialization with a critical thinking mindset to challenge the status quo. Interpersonal skills are also vital to handle different stakeholders within and outside the business. The ability to make things happen positively in the given timeline with a sense of urgency would be the key success factor for the role.
The role requires you to onboard 1-2 months in Dong Da, Hanoi (with supporting allowance) then work permanent in District 4, HCMC.
What You'll Do- Ensure that all day-to-day accounting operations are met in accordance with the statutory requirements including Withholding Payments, Income Tax, Goods & Services Tax, Payrolls, and others.
- Prepare local financial statements; manage the process of the documentary.
- Ensure the compliance matter of business operations. Partnering with all outsourced parties in ensuring SLAs are monitored and achieved.
- Managing budget, plan, forecast, and actuals of the country with the business unit.
- Review and analyze the budget vs plan and forecast variations in comparison to the actuals on monthly results and present an explanation of material variances to local and regional management.
- Collaborates with the business unit director in the planning of the expenses of the country and assists with the monthly sales forecasting process and the P&L review.
- Monitoring & assisting in the achievement of the annual budget execution by playing the key finance role in the country in association with the business unit director.
- Prepare and manage cash flow forecasts and actuals according to the business needs.
- Monitor and manage AR collection process to optimize the cash flow and work together with the business unit to improve the collection cycle.
- Knowledge of Banking & Treasury operations and can work on getting bank lines with Bankers.
- Conduct monthly reconciliation of books, and ensure book closing activities are done on time as required.
- Liasioning with internal and external auditors.
- Manage and support team members.
- Work on key parameters DSO / DSI / DPO
- Conduct works regarding taxes, audits and internal process management.
- Other tasks as assigned.
About You- Min Degree in Accounting/Finance. Post qualifications from professional bodies such as ACCA, CPA, and CIMA would be advantageous to the role.
- Chief Accountant certificate.
- Min 5 years of relevant experience in Chief Accountant role of a trading company with deep understanding of local GAAP and Taxes.
- Experience in IT Servicing industry will be an added advantage.
- Good Microsoft Office skills particularly strong capability in Microsoft Excel
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with ERP (e.g. Oracle Netsuite, SAP)
- Able to work not only independently but in a team as well, prioritize meticulously in discharging responsibilities.
- Advanced in English (writing, listening, and speaking).
- Willing to work with a long-term objective.
