Type: Full-time / Hybrid

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to join our growing team and support day-to-day finance operations across multiple entities. This role is ideal for someone with solid foundational experience who is looking to further develop their skills in a supportive and structured environment.

You will work closely with the Finance Manager and gain exposure to a broad range of accounting functions including bookkeeping, tax compliance, payroll, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Bookkeeping & General Ledger

  • Maintain accurate general ledger entries and reconciliations
  • Prepare journal entries with proper supporting documentation
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes

Tax & Compliance (Australia)

  • Prepare GST, BAS, and IAS for review
  • Support tax compliance and lodgements with the Australian Taxation Office (ATO)
  • Assist with FBT and income tax workings

Payroll Support

  • Assist in payroll processing and data preparation
  • Support superannuation and STP reporting

Accounts Receivable & Payable

  • Process invoices, payments, and receipts
  • Follow up on outstanding receivables
  • Maintain vendor and customer records

Reporting

  • Assist in preparing management reports (P&L, balance sheet)
  • Support the Finance Manager with analysis and reporting tasks

What We're Looking For

Experience & Skills

  • From 3–4 years of accounting experience
  • Basic knowledge of GST/BAS and accounting principles
  • Experience with Xero and/or MYOB is preferred
  • Good Excel skills
