Youll be the trusted link between agency and client, helping ensure smooth communication, cultural alignment, and effective project execution.
YOUR ROLE IN THE HUNT
- Research clients products, services, brand history, business culture, competitors, and local insights
- Attend client briefings and support manager/director in presenting proposals (in English or Japanese as required)
- Liaise with internal teams (Creative, Planning, Production...) to translate client expectations into actionable strategies
- Ensure projects are well-managed and culturally appropriate, including:
.Reporting to account manager/director
.Writing meeting recaps (internal/external)
.Following up progress and timelines
.Managing invoicing and administrative tasks
- Act as daily contact point for Japanese clients: answering queries, managing feedback, guiding next steps
- Coordinate across departments to ensure delivery on time, on brief, and on budget
- Participate in new business pitches, especially with Japanese brands
- Occasionally travel for meetings or events with clients
WHAT WE LOOK FOR
- Fluent in Japanese is compulsory, both spoken and written
- Experience or interest in Japanese business culture and communication
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable under pressure
- Team player who can collaborate across departments
- Confident in presenting ideas and managing client expectations
- Proficient in using digital tools (Google Workspace, project tracking tools...)
- Familiarity with or interest in AI tools to improve productivity
- Curious, proactive, and culturally sensitive
