Work you'll do

You would lead your team or support your Team Leader in performing one or more of the following services to our clients:

  1. Accounting & Reporting Advisory
  • Evaluating the impact of the adoption of an accounting standard, a new accounting policy, or a transaction on a company's accounting operation and financial information
  • Perform technical conversion of a company's financial statements from VAS to IFRS or other GAAPs and vice versa
  • Provide ad-hoc support on accounting-related matters in accordance with requirements of VAS, IFRS or other GAAPs.

  1. Accounting Operations Advisory/ Business Assurance
  • Assess a company's accounting and financial reporting processes, and ICFR for optimization opportunities
  • Evaluate the readiness of a company's system, process and human resource for digital transformation e.g. ERP implementation, controllership application (SAP Concur, Workiva, Blackline) implementation
  • Integrate IFRS compliance requirements in the accounting and financial reporting activities on an ERP system e.g. SAP or Oracle
  • Provide Agree-upon procedures for special purposes.

  1. Disruptive Events Advisory
  • Provide accounting advice for transactions, such as IPO readiness, divestments, M&A transactions
  • Execute post-merger integration activities including accounting policy review, internal controls and financial reporting process transformation
  • Assess a company's readiness for disruptive events e.g. IPO, listing, restructuring and advise on implementation plan.

Requirements

You should possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in accounting, auditing, finance, banking or economics
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience
  • Ability to work in team and independently
  • Ability to communicate well (verbally and written) in both English and Vietnamese
  • Good problem solving and analytical thinking skills
  • Competence in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Excel PowerPoint.

It would be a plus if you also meet the following requirements:

  • Possess good command of or working experience with IFRS, Internal control, or Internal Audit
  • Have hands-on experience with financial, statistical software and ERP
  • Qualified or in the process of obtaining relevant certificates e.g. CPA, ACCA, CFA.
