Job Summary
The Workplace Delivery Consultant works across a range of activities that bring process transformation, enterprise workflow, and intelligent automation solutions to life for customers. The role applies lean and agile approaches together with enterprise methodologies, tools, and standards to scope and deliver optimised solutions that maximise customer and business value.
This role is responsible for delivering key projects and initiatives that support Workplace Technology needs of business areas, while managing business priorities, resource levels, and third-party providers. Responsibilities span strategy, design, development, delivery, and maintenance of technology-based solutions.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead small to medium-sized initiatives or support the delivery of larger programs and deliverables
- Deliver projects and initiatives that meet Workplace Technology requirements across business areas
- Review assigned business processes end-to-end and identify improvement opportunities
- Develop As-Is process documentation where not currently available
- Work with business owners to define and implement To-Be process maps and artefacts to embed sustainable process change
- Perform advanced data analysis and modelling, translating analysis into insights and actionable recommendations
- Engage stakeholders and influence consistency of process transformation aligned with divisional and project priorities
- Develop and present materials to communicate opportunities and recommendations to relevant stakeholders
- Facilitate and support workshops to define processes, identify issues, and design future-state processes
- Ensure alignment with enterprise process methodologies, frameworks, standards, and tools, including Lean Six Sigma and Agile
- Provision technology-based services covering strategy, design, development, delivery, and ongoing maintenance of solutions
- Manage dependencies across services and work with relevant service owners to address impacts
Job Requirements
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
- Strong knowledge of project delivery methodologies and associated tools, with hands-on experience in Lean and Six Sigma practices within an Agile delivery environment
- Experience working as a business analyst or consultant delivering projects or change initiatives, preferably with a business improvement focus
- Advanced capability in analysing data and business processes, with strong problem-solving skills and measurable outcomes
- Strong presentation, facilitation, and communication skills, with the ability to synthesise data and communicate insights effectively
- Ability to adapt to changing environments and present alternative solutions to challenges
- Demonstrated understanding and application of risk management fundamentals
- Experience managing risks, issues, and dependencies within project environments
- Comfortable working in complex environments across multiple workstreams and evolving timelines
- Experience working on Agile projects or within Agile delivery models
- Growth mindset with comfort in ambiguity and experimentation
- Strong English communication skills (verbal and written)
- Tertiary qualification with a degree in Information Technology or a related technology discipline
- Commitment to acting in accordance with enterprise codes of conduct, information security standards, and compliance requirements
