Role & Objective
The Accounts Payable Accountant is responsible for directly performing accounting activities related to payments and supplier liabilities for the assigned business unit. The position ensures that all payment transactions, accounting records, and supporting documents comply with ROX Group's internal regulations, applicable accounting standards, tax requirements, and current legislation. The role contributes to maintaining professional, secure, accurate, and efficient financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Accounting and Bookkeeping Operations
Review payment requests, invoices, contracts, acceptance records, tax documents, and other supporting documents to ensure their accuracy, completeness, validity, and compliance with legal, tax, and internal requirements. Prepare accounting vouchers and process accounting data in accordance with applicable accounting standards and company procedures. Record company expenditures, bank transactions, supplier liabilities, and other payment-related transactions accurately and within required deadlines.
Monitor and reconcile bank accounts and accounts payable balances to ensure consistency between accounting records, supporting documents, bank statements, and actual payment status. Track outstanding supplier balances, payment due dates, advances, and other related obligations. Maintain and archive accounting documents and records systematically in accordance with legal requirements and ROX Group's document-retention procedures.
Prepare accounts payable reports, payment-status reports, supplier balance reports, and other internal reports as required. Prepare payment proposals and submit complete documentation to authorized management levels for review and approval.
- Audit and Inspection Support
Provide explanations regarding accounting transactions, balances, payment records, and supporting documents during internal reviews, independent audits, tax inspections, financial inspections, or examinations conducted by competent authorities. Coordinate with relevant departments to collect and provide complete accounting documentation within required deadlines.
Ensure that accounting and payment activities comply with current financial, accounting, and tax regulations while protecting the legitimate rights and interests of ROX Group. Identify potential compliance issues and report discrepancies or risks to the relevant manager for timely resolution.
Perform other accounting, financial, and administrative responsibilities assigned by management in accordance with ROX Group's policies and the operational requirements of the assigned unit. Coordinate with relevant departments to support the achievement of the unit's overall financial and operational objectives.
Job Requirements
Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree or higher in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Auditing, or another relevant discipline.
Candidates must have at least three years of professional experience in Accounting, Auditing, Finance, Accounts Payable, Payment Accounting, or another related area. Practical experience in reviewing payment documents, managing supplier liabilities, processing bank transactions, and preparing accounting reports is preferred.
Candidates must have a solid understanding of accounting, finance, taxation, and payment-control principles. The position requires knowledge of applicable laws and regulations relating to accounting, financial management, tax documentation, invoices, and payment transactions. Candidates should also understand internal accounting policies, tax procedures, approval authorities, and financial-control requirements.
Candidates should possess basic English communication skills equivalent to CEFR A1 or TOEIC 300. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, is required. Practical experience using accounting software such as FAST, MISA, or similar financial systems is also necessary.
The position requires integrity, accuracy, attention to detail, perseverance, and a strong sense of responsibility. Candidates must demonstrate effective communication and teamwork skills, together with the ability to organize accounting activities, control payment documentation, identify discrepancies, and assess potential accounting or compliance risks.
