You will own the health, security, and scalability of EmbedIT's core Windows Server ecosystem in Ho Chi Minh City — Active Directory, VMware and Hyper-V virtualization, and enterprise services running the financial platforms behind millions of customers worldwide.
You will automate routine administration in PowerShell, collaborate with our cloud and security teams, and take part in global infrastructure projects alongside colleagues across Europe and APAC.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure, patch, and maintain enterprise Windows Server (2016–2022) environments to ensure high availability.
- Manage Active Directory, Group Policy (GPO), DNS, DHCP, and hybrid identity with Microsoft Entra ID.
- Administer virtualized infrastructure on VMware vSphere/ESXi and Hyper-V, including VM provisioning.
- Automate repetitive tasks, user provisioning, and system reporting with PowerShell and Task Scheduler.
- Monitor and test system backups and replication using Veeam and Windows Server Backup to guarantee disaster recovery.
- Collaborate with cloud and security teams on global infrastructure initiatives.
Your Experience and Skills
- 2+ years administering Windows Server in an enterprise environment.
- Solid knowledge of Active Directory, GPO, DNS, DHCP, and NTFS permissions.
- Practical ability to write and modify PowerShell scripts for system administration.
- Hands-on experience managing VMs in VMware or Hyper-V.
- Solid English for daily collaboration, with strong analytical and structured troubleshooting skills.
- Nice to have: hybrid (on-prem + cloud) experience, Windows clustering and high availability, advanced automation (PowerShell DSC or Ansible), and SAN/NAS storage understanding.
- Nice to have: AZ-800/AZ-801 (Windows Server Hybrid Administrator), older MCSA, or VMware Certified Professional (VCP).
