Website Developer Manager (PHP, WordPress)

Responsibilities

● Directly communicate with Product, Developer, QA and Executive teams.

● Control project plan execution for the team's feature.

● Collaborate with team members to investigate, analyze, design and estimate features

based on specification.

● Participate in required meetings.

● Handle internal processes for team members (hiring, training, performance review,

etc.).

● Conduct code review for team members.

● Support revolving business logic and technical problems for team members.

● Process issue from Support/QA team and/or assigned to team members.

Required Qualifications

● Good English communication

● Management experience of a 6+ team.

● Management experience of 4+ years.

● Management experience of remote team members.

● Experience with team collaboration frameworks like Agile.

● Strong understanding of backend development principles and object-oriented

programming in PHP.

● Fluency in PHP & WordPress and others ecosystems (theme customization,

plugin development, WordPress Templates, WordPress APIs...).

● Good knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and basic SQL queries.

● Experience working with RESTful APIs, integrating external services into web

applications.

● Good at JavaScript, SQL, HTML, CSS.

● Familiarity with server management, basic networking concepts, deployment

pipelines, and CI/CD (nice to have).

● Able to write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code.

● Able to quickly learn and adapt to existing project structure and codebase.

● At least 5 years of experience in a relevant position.

Desired Qualifications

● Git, Jira, Confluence, GitHub, VMware, PHP IDE, Git bash, Linux

bash, PowerShell.

● Familiarity with project management tools like Jira and Confluence.

● Basic experience with cloud platforms (AWS EC2, LightSail) for

hosting and deployment.

● Knowledge of CI/CD tools (TeamCity, Jenkins, GitHub Actions) is a

plus.

● Ability to work with virtualization technologies (VMware) for

development environments.

● Exposure to WordPress REST API and integration with external

APIs.
